after playing the waiting game and the longest game of phone tag i believe in human history, I was finally able to pick up the ferrets this lady was selling. after a while she gave me both ferrets for free. (she of course only spoke spanish) so i had to use google translate constantly. she said her daughter had bought them and the huge cage for her 5 yr old, but of course the child grew tired of them. so tis was i to the rescue.



drove 3 1/2 hours to get them. when i finally got there they had been outside in the rain for who knows how long. theyre blankets(towlels) were soaked and the liter box was completely full. so they never cleaned the box.



when we finally got home i tried to get them to play and they didnt know how. literally. they had no idea of what "play " was. it was the saddest thing.



no its been a month since that day and they super happy and healthy and dry. and they are a big happy fuzzy butt busines:)
